Promising Results from JobsPlus Pilot

The JobsPlus scheme, funded by the UK government, is currently being trialed in ten neighborhoods across England. This innovative program focuses on providing intensive job support in areas with high unemployment, particularly among residents of social housing. The initiative has shown early signs of effectiveness, with 27% of over 1,000 participants achieving positive employment outcomes between July 2024 and December last year.

The program employs 'community champions' who engage with hard-to-reach individuals, offering tailored support that includes:
